Sadly this is one of the most disappointing venues of the Upper Street circuit. Having repeatedly changed hands and themes, it is currently known as The Library Bar. The place is pretty dismal inside, with cheap decor and rude staff – possibly due to the fact that it has changed owners so many times and has never had room to really develop.
There is however a reasonable happy hour held regularly which almost makes up for your surroundings which, other than some fake book wallpaper in one corner fail to really live up to the library moniker. They have an extensive cocktail list available for such occasions but don’t expect any show boating or anything particularly special, staff are slow and drinks often icy.
Only if you are desperate in your search for pubs in London.
